Fujitsu undertakes and agrees to comply with all applicable requirements under an applicable law on data protection or data privacy, including (when applicable) the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including any applicable amendment, re-enactment or replacement of it from time to time (“GDPR”) and any applicable EU Member State implementation laws of it, as well as other relevant data protection regulations for the handling, support and evaluation of the events offered and for the purpose of optimizing the event offer.
Our business model envisages that some of our events are financed with the help of sponsors and cooperation partners. In return, these partners receive participant data, as first name / last name, function, company name, company postal address. The partners and sponsors who receive your data can be found, always updated, on the web or registration page of your booked event.
We expect that you will only transfer to Fujitsu own personal data, such as name, company, department and e-mail address ("Personal Data") as is necessary to perform the relevant service and comply with all applicable legal requirements.
All your personal data will be collected, processed and used by Fujitsu, on the basis of consent given by you in accordance with Art. 6.1, lit. A) GDPR. Your personal data will be used for the purpose of processing and receiving your registration for our events. In case of non-provision we are unfortunately unable to register you for our event. An automated decision-making is not carried out. In addition Fujitsu shall only use the transferred data in order to perform the relevant service or as well as anonymously for evaluations and quality assurance measures. Please note: you have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the above-named purposes. The duration of the storage of your personal data ends upon receipt of your revocation.
The Personal Data that we are storing in our systems are the data that you provide during your registration, i.e. name, surname, email address, position, company. We may also collect demographic information, such as your business information and preferences. Forms that you choose to complete will indicate which information requested is mandatory or voluntary.
In order to offer you a more consistent experience in your interactions with Fujitsu, information (including Personal Data) collected through one source may be combined with information Fujitsu obtains through other sources. We may also supplement the information we collect with information obtained from other parties, including our contractually authorized third parties, e.g. distributors or technology partners.

Some of the events, offered in the Fujitsu Event Portal require that you agree to the promotional use of your Personal Data by partners of Fujitsu, as further set out in detail in the dedicated event specific registration process. By clicking on the registration for the dedicated event, you agree that Fujitsu may transfer your Personal Data to its event specific partners and that they, as well as Fujitsu, may use your Personal Data to advertise their product and services, also by e-mail and telephone. For this purpose, they will receive your Personal Data and contact details as well as data to prove this consent, which they will process on their own responsibility.
Please note that you are not obliged to give this consent. You can revoke a consent once given at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future. If the responsible recipient is based in a country outside the European Union, we must point out that there may be a lower level of data protection there than in the European Union.
Fujitsu may engage sub-contractors (i) for the services provided within Fujitsu Event Portal, (ii) to work anonymously for purposes of statistical evaluation and quality assurance, or (iii) where agreed, as sub-processors for the processing of Personal Data in accordance with Article 28 para. 4 GDPR. Such subcontractors may be located outside of the European Economic Area.
Further information on sub-contractors engaged by Fujitsu is available upon request, if not already included in the publications of Fujitsu. To the extent Fujitsu relies on the services of subcontractors for the processing of Personal Data, Fujitsu shall remain responsible for the performance of all its obligations under the dedicated services provided within the Fujitsu Event Portal. In any case, when employing subcontractors for deliveries or the performance of services, Fujitsu is obliged to impose the appropriate obligations as per this Statement also on the subcontractors.

Please provide such information and documentation as well as access to facilities and records as Fujitsu may reasonably require to review and audit compliance with your obligations under this Statement.
